Fast changing weather...

Out by the mountains in this picture is the ice shelf runway I landed on.  It is called the Pegasus runway.  I took this picture from the edge of McMurdo Station.

This is a picture of a NASA antenna up above the dorms

 The weather here changes faster than in CO.

This is one of the two local bars.  One plays like classic rock and the other one plays more hip-hop.  No windows.  I had a Corona, which did not feel right.  I don't think Corona was made for Antarctica.








This is just a picture of miles and miles of ice.

Early in the season this is the runway planes land on, which is significantly closer than where I landed.  This is right off the edge of McMurdo Station.
